When describing a person, here are some ideas you may take into account:
• Physical appearance
• Personality traits
• Experiences
• Motivations
• Relationships
Physical appearance: What does a character look like?
Consider:
• Age, height, complexion
• Hair length and colour
• Other distinctive features, such as freckles, dimples, braces, glasses, etc.
• Clothing and style - well dressed, grungy, free spirited... What message might the subject be trying to deliver with his/her style?
• Movement - is your character graceful, clumsy or awkward? Or ordinary and without charm?
Use similes and metaphors, for example, Her lips were as red as cherries. Her black hair glistened like a raven. My best friend is sharp as a pencil.
